Trinity Zill O’ll Zero (aka Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll) First Screens Looks Painterly

Trinity Zill O’ll Zero (announced as Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll for US) doesn’t looks too appealing for me from the Famitsu scans but these direct feed screens changed that a little. This seems like a prequel to the original PlayStation action rpg (remade for PSP earlier this year) with the free scenarios system is being retained. One of the main focus of the game will be the three members party system, where players can switch characters freely during battles. These characters include a swordsman with magic abilities, a warriors and a ranger, so they will play differently from each other. Since this is from Omega Force, the guys behind the Dynasty Warriors series, you can expect plenty of hack-and-slash with dozens of enemies on screen. The game will be out in Japan this winter. I hope with the US announcement for this, Koei or someone else will look into localizing the PSP remake, which looks very nice.
