With its fast approaching release date (Apr 24), Sega amazing looking SRPG Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyrie Of The Battlefield: Gallian Chronicles in English) keep teasing me to just go ahead and buy the Japanese version. Game Watch has an article taking a detail look at the game’s world and background with some new screens.
Ragnite
The story takes place in fictional Europe when everyone rely heavily on “Ragnite” as their source of energy. Duchy of Gallia happens to be the main producer of “Ragnite” and two warring countries surrounding it, Empire and Federation are looking to invade the country for its rich mineral.

The blue colored energy ore power every moving vehicle in the continent.

Obviously, it is used for weapons like grenades as well.

The light of “Ragnite” happens to have recovery effects too. Players can use it to heal themselves or friends who are hurt.

Selvaria Bles, a Valkyria, charged herself with “Ragnite” and can unleash some special attack.

Built by the Valkyrias, Bariaus Remains is a strange shape building located in the Bariaus Desert and has high concentration of “Ragnite”.
