Thanks to the extremely favorable in the West and also from Weekly Famitsu itself, who gave the game a 9,9,9,10 score, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (known as Uncharted: Do ougon Katana to Kie ta Sendan in Japan) made a huge improvement over the first game to debut at the fifth spot of the latest Japanese rankings with more than 50,000 copies sold. On the hardware front, the system is still the best selling home consoles for the week, beating Wii by a small margin.
