I can’t believe it’s eight months since we last heard about Aquaplus’ SRPG Tears to Tiara: Kakan no Daichi, when it was originally planned for release late last year. However, the game looks much polished now than when we first saw it and is now set for release on July 17th. There are a bunch of new screens of the game from Dengeki Online base on their latest report of the game in the upcoming issue of Dengeki PlayStation. Let’s see what’s new…

The game uses the artworks of Nakamura Takeshi and Amaduyu Tatsuki, both have worked on Aquaplus’ visual novel ToHeart 2 before.

Animation power house STUDIO4°C of Animatrix and Tekkon Kinkreet fame is working on the CG cut scenes, which is already looking great from the screens above.

It was mentioned from my previous report that the game switch from real-time 2D battle to turn base strategy. There will be difficulty levels for players to choose as well.

The story is set in the world of sword and magic. Riannon was rescued from being scarified to arise a powerful demon by her older brother Arthur. However, that doesn’t stop the demon from being resurrected. The story would later make Arthur join forces with the demon named Arawn to fight an invading force together.
