Finally, PlayStation 3 To Officially Launch In Malaysia
I used to frequent the Malaysia section of the PlayStation Asia site just to see when this will happen; but my hope faded away as time went by. Out of the blue and much to the delights of us Malaysian PS fans, Sony Malaysia announced it will officially launch PS3 right here in Malaysia, and it’s taking place in 5 days’ time!
What’s more, the launching price seems really attractive too! At RM1799, you get the 80Gb PS3 (the upgraded version of the 40Gb models, announced at E3 2008), a DualShock 3 controller, Soul Calibur IV plus one of the selected games (Resistance: Fall of Man, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Assassin’s Creed). A launch event is also set to take place at Kuala Lumpur’s 1 Utama shopping mall on 20 September 2008 with the first 120 in the line getting various amounts of Sony Cash Voucher. One thing’s for sure, PS3Hyper will definitely be there! So watch this space for more report in the near future.
