The stage is set in Europe around 1930s. In this alternate universe, Europe was split into the “East European Empire Union” and the “Atlantic Ocean federal Organization” and for years and years, these two superpowers have been seeking to unify Europe through a large scale war, named European War II (E.W.II). Heroes often emerge in these chaotic times, and in a small, neutral country, Galia, such a young man came forward to join the fight.

Galia was falling under the onslaught of the Empire’s overwhelming forces, but before the enemies could take the capital, Welkin Gunther, the leader of a small army faction thwarted the military giant’s plans and entered historical records as a hero.

The screens in the game are filled with a dusky tint, the lines are smooth and the palette is subdued yet warm. Aside from its distinctive graphics, the sounds in the game is just as impressive. The epic storyline coupled with the rich graphics and sounds supported by the third generation consoles creates a world that players immerse themselves fully into.

Senjou no Valkyria is a turn based RPG that combines strategy with action. Proceed with the game the way you read a history book. Read the text and get involved in the battle parts, depending on the options you have chosen or the battles you have fought, the game rewards you with more chapters to your “book”.

• Under the war. The story begins at a small country called Duchy of Gallia between Empire and Federation who claimed it’s neutral position was invaded by Empire without warning. When the country nearly faced to the fall of the capital, the farraginous voluntary army stands against the massive army of Empire! Valkrja is the RPG that represents “the greatness of hustling for living” and “preciousness of deep bound between humans” generated through the dramas under the war and it’s ultimate state.
• Hand-written illustrations are moving as 3D graphic. An epoch-making graphic presentation system, “GANVAS”! Hand-written watercolor illustrations are moving in the screen! The new system enables the warm graphic that have never seen in the previous video games. The system produce the unique game world with the intentionally misaligned outline of the objects and characters, their color that protruded from the outline, the shadow with diagonal line which makes the picture looks written by hand and sound effect appeared by the graphic letter like the cartoon. Player can freely explore this world full of unique graphic representation.
• The system enables the tactical action RPG, “BLiTZ”. “BLiTZ” is the turn based battle system which blends the tactical features and action features. The player can move the character of the platoon in it’s turn to beat the enemy platoons like tactical games but BLiTZ enables to include more action features in this battle. Pull down the various field with the full of strategic missions like the snipe from roof, latency and search the enemy by exploiting both “Command mode” and “Action mode”. The expected fun factors for the RPG, raising the characters and forming the original platoon are also available.
